About the Artist
The dreamy and ethereal paintings of Moonbound Studio are created by 29 year old digital artist, Sierra Leitner.
With the tagline, “magical gals & their spooky pals”, Sierra’s artwork follows magical stories & characters through enchanted realms.
Each painting provides a window into a world that is full of untold fairy tales and bathed in moonlight; a world overflowing with whimsical landscapes, spooky friends, looming castles, and plenty of magic.
Originally from the Hudson Valley NY, Sierra obtained her Bachelor’s in Visual Art at SUNY New Paltz, and has since exhibited her work full time at juried art shows, Comic Cons, and Renaissance across the United States, such as Los Angeles Comic Con in Los Angeles California, Witchcrafted Market in Glendale Arizona, Creep I.E. Con in Ontario, California, and Washington Summer Con in Puyallup, Washington.
Sierra is now based out of Los Angeles, traveling regularly to show her work. She has a 15.6k Instagram following, often running community Art Prompt Challenges and working alongside brands such as BlackMilk Clothing and Diamond Art Club.
Sierra is currently working on an illustrated book series centered around her work, with hopes to publish the first edition in the next year.
